If you support students or early-stage founders, you’ve probably seen this before.
Students care about sustainability.
They want to do things ethically.
But the business side feels confusing, stressful, and expensive to get wrong.
This page explains the three ways I work with colleges, universities, and organisations, depending on time, budget, and how far you want students to go.
The 3-hour workshop helps students understand what building a sustainable business really involves.
The 2-week programme helps students stop guessing and build early foundations.
The 8-week programme takes students from early stage to fully set up and ready to sell.
They’re all based on the same topic and striving for the same outcome. The main difference is the depth at which they are taught.
Price – £500
This is the simplest way to introduce the topic and works well when time or budget is tight.
This workshop is about awareness and understanding, not full business setup.
1 x 3-hour live workshop
preparation and delivery
printed exercise handout for each student
practical examples and discussion
Suitable for 10–20 students
Additional students: £15 per student
Students leave with:
a clear understanding of what sustainable business really means
awareness of common mistakes that cause stress and money loss later
a better idea of whether they want to take this further
This workshop gives students a better understanding about what it requires to ensure that their business is ethical.
It does not build the full business yet.Â

This option is for organisations that want students to go beyond awareness and start building their business properly.

Sometimes you don’t need a full workshop or programme.
You might already have a course running and you just want someone to come in and teach .
If that’s you, you can hire me for:
a guest session
a short block of teaching
visiting lecturer support
a few classes across a term
It can be online or in person.
sustainability in businessÂ
ethical sourcing and how to avoid hidden exploitation
pricing, costing, and why so many makers undercharge
building a sustainable handmade business from the start
circular economy in practice
If you’ve got a specific topic in mind, just tell me. I’ll let you know if it’s a good fit.
I don’t charge a simple hourly rate, because teaching is never just the hour in the room.
There’s prep, planning, adapting it to your cohort, and making sure it’s actually useful.
So I price guest teaching by session or half day / full day, depending on what you need.
If you message me with:
how long you want me for
how many students
whether it’s online or in person
what topic you want covered
I’ll come back with a clear quote.
Use the contact form and let me know what kind of topic you would like to cover.
I’ll tell you what’s realistic, what will work best for your students, and what it would cost.
